From the early days of the Digital era, LogiWays has designed a software architecture called Magello to address multiple market requirements.
From a DVB engine in the core, Magello software has evolved to support and anticipate new features and satisfy the most advanced market requirements. Magello family software is now able to satisfy Free to Air – FTA- networks, but also payTV operators by integrating a Conditional Access Systems –CAS-. Magello also provides feature rich PVR mechanisms with time-shift functions, trick modes management and multiple tuners support. Also to comply with the requests of service providers and operators, Magello provides also interactive features over IP to enrich the existing DVB services with hybrids product design.
With the market evolution, Magello is now widely deployed on digital STB devices, but also on TV sets, providing a single software solution to manage the configuration of the display as well as the value added features. |
